Junkanoo Beach was a short walk from the dock and it is free. We toured The Pirates of Nassau museum and loved it. Well worth the stop.

It's a working shipping port. There is a shopping area just off the ship but we found several of the people would change a price on you if you even turned to discuss it. Teenage son came to me to get money after talking to one merchant and when he got back the guy raised the price and wouldn't honor the original price. We got off for about an hour and then returned to the ship.
