A good excursion run by two super enthusiastic guys. It would however have been better to have had a longer walks in the forest and foregone the snack. We had already eaten masses on the ship !
The town was quaint and we would have enjoyed a little more time to explore.
We only stopped here for the morning but It was very easy to get to the Mendenhall Glacier which was an amazing. We enjoyed the quick look around the town of Juneau which is really just a tourist town. Do folks really come on cruises just to do shopping ? One can shop anytime at home ! Do they not want to see the country outside the town and enjoy the travel experience ?
A full day trip into the Yukon and then back on the White Pass railway. It was good to see the area where all the Gold Rush history was made. The guide was fun and really enthusiastic.
