The description was misleading. Only spent about 20 minutes doing any kind of 4-wheeling. Don't take this if you don't like driving over a suspension bridge or along cliff highways!! You may get put in to a Jeep with people you don't know. They pack in 4 people to a Jeep. Didn't like that at all. The descrip didn't say that and when we asked we were told, "well, that was in the release you just signed". Our response was, oh, yes, the release you had us sign after you took our money. They did give us our own Jeep for the two of us. It was very cramped space with 4 people to a Jeep.
Jeep Tour Rating:
We had one Jeep get a flat tire and the tour guides were great at making jokes aobut it and changing it in Nascar pit crew style fashion. It began to snow, pretty heavily, which was their first snow of the season. The Jeep did not handle well in the snow.
Oh, and the description said you'll visit the world's smallest dessert...............NOT!!! It is a small island out in the middle of a lake that you can barely see on your 4-wheeling ride back down the mountain. Again, very misleading description.
Overall, it was kind of cool to do, but in such bad weather (heavy fog, rain, snow) it wasn't worth it. Would only reccomend if you don't take the scenic train ride and it is good clear weather.
Surprised they wouldn't let us sit in the first or last cars. Good narration. Good pictures even though is was very cloudy. Nice history lesson. Would reccomend.
