In Juneau we took the shuttle you can catch just off the dock to Mendenhall Glacier and spent several hours out there. We came back into town and wondered around there.
In Skagway we rented a jeep from Green Jeep Tours. That was great. They pick you up at the dock take you to get your jeep that has a CD that plays for your self guided tour. We went up into the Yukon as far as Emerald Lake and then back to Dyea.
In Ketchikan we booked a tour with Sourdough Tours at the stand they have just off the ship. Our driver was a Ray a 70ish year old man born there so he knew a lot about the town and it's history. We saw so must more with this tour than we would have on our own. He took us out to see bears and eagles. We stopped by the Totem Park and were dropped off with our tickets to Dolly's Place on Creek Street. This tour was well worth the small price they were asking.
Victoria was our last port. We found Sandra and John with there old English Taxi when we got off the ship there. We had a 2 hour tour that was great. They took us to all off the high lights. At Beacon Hill park she had food so we could feed the peacocks and at the harbor food to feed the seals so fun!
