As all ports, just walked off ship-10 minutes to little mermaid. Walked to The Hard Rock Cafe and bought my pin. We booked a Segway tour with toursCHP.com. Never did it before, but learned in ten minutes and had a great time-two hours. Ate lunch in the city at a sidewalk cafe. Walked around some more and then backed to ship.
Took the Hop on Hop off boat that is right at the dock as soon as we could, and first stop was Vasa Museum-get there early! Que was huge when we left after an hour. Took the boat over to Old town, found the HRC, bought a pin, ate and used the free Internet there. Caught the boat at the Royal sightseeing station and back to ship.
Again, easy walk off to old town, had downloaded the walking tour and had a great day. Climbed St. Olav's church and part of the old wall (both cost a few Euros). Definitely do your souvenir shopping here. Best prices for all ports! There was shopping set up in the square and did buy some Amber there.
Gothenburg Sweden was our last port (not on this list). Have to take the ship's shuttle, no other choice. Only thing at port is the Volvo Museum, which we did after town. Easy walking town once you get there, nice busy main street (with the HRC) also nice river walk to the Haga area. OK port, but not exciting.
