Private vehicle was only slightly more than HAL tour. Excellent overview of Iceland and we could take as much or little time at each place. Maasdam spent two nights and this was the highlight of the trip.
Overnight in this beautiful city. If you have never been to Amsterdam, it can be done on your own. The ship docks right in town. The Candlelight Cruise was very nice.
HAL ran a shuttle into town. Trinity College was a good tour but we later found that it was right across from the shuttle bus stop. This was an overnight stop so I would suggest private tours.
