Quite quaint. Great view of the fort from the ship. We were there Sat & Sun. The shops were open - great for last minute souvenirs. Public buses were conveniently located within walking distance. We bought a bus and ferry pass (right at the exit of the ship). We took a walk at night ... felt very safe. We spent the port time in Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay so we didn't really spend much time exploring the King's Wharf - which is probably worth half a day of visit. Very clean.
The port has a lot of souvenir shops and dining choices. We took a public bus to Cliff Walk to see the mansions and to check out the town. It was okay. We then walked back to have lunch and then back to the ship. We think our time was better spent enjoying the ship than the port.
