Amsterdam
Anne Frank House Rating: 5+ out of 5+
Brought the book and movie to life. Very sobering.

Rembrandt House Rating: 5+ out of 5+
Felt like he still lived there. Rembrandt Cafe on corner worth a stop for crepes.

Van Gogh Museum Rating: 5+ out of 5+
Love Van Gogh. Most I've seen in one place. Great collection.

Windmills Driving Tour Rating: 5+ out of 5+
Must have been 10-15 windmills. Got to go in one up to the top. Very scenic.

Budapest
Port Rating: Not Rated
The city is pretty interesting with a castle area that was bombed in WWII. Contrast with the Communist days is pretty dramatic. It is full of cafes but not a shopping town--malls in the suburbs have taken shopping away--and what we saw was basic, universal.People were friendly and spoke English. Some great bridges. You can walk to most places in the old city. A fenicular takes you up to the castle area from the river edge.
