First port of call was Dubrovenik. Royal Caribbean were charging for their shuttle bus $15 per person. We got a taxi into the old town for €10. Don't bother exchanging your money into Kuna they accept euro and it was usually better value. The town is lovely well worth a visit.
Pisa/Florence - The ship docked in La Spezia. 20 minutes walk to the train station to get the train to Pisa. €46 euro return for three. The Leaning Tower is quite a distance from the train station so get a taxi for around €10 each way. A lot cheaper than getting the Ships organised tours.
Marseille - It was ridiculous that RC were charging $15 per person for their shuttle bus. This port is awful. The ship docked in what looked like a quarry. It was stated it was a mile to the bus but it seemed longer. The bus is €1.50 into the town. I think RC should provide free shuttle buses to the port when they have docked so far from the main entrance.
