It was too crowded to enjoy the city. Skip the Vatican. See outside of Colesseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain. Book independently and go back to the ship early.
Pisa was fabulous. Better than Florence, but Florence is worth a look. It's very crowded so walk around a little, have lunch, people see. If you're planning to buy leather, do it in Pisa.
Had to take a shuttle to get into the city area. A lot of walking is involved. Took a little train tour, then shopped a little. Shopping in Cannes is much better.
