The Black Falcon Cruise Terminal is South Boston worked very efficiently. It was a lot easier to embark and disembark the vessel, than let's say, Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ (which also had a really well designed embarkation/disembarkation system.) A very nice city.
Bermuda is a beautiful island in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. We docked on the west end of the island, at the Royal Naval Dockyard, more specifically the Heritage Wharf pier. The pier looked brand new. Having three days in port, we were able to explore and wander as we wished. We stayed local on Sunday, our first day. We went to Horseshoe Beach, Bermuda's most acclaimed beach. Monday nights at the Dockyard are the host to weekly street-fair like events called Destination Dockyard. It was a craft market with homemade goods, such as beaded necklaces. There was also a hair-braiding station which my daughter loved. She always loves to get her hair braided on cruises.
Overall, Bermuda was a beautiful island. I would definitely recommend taking a vacation there.
