Compared to other places i have been on holiday, we had a long time individually with the dolphin which was lovely. However, the park is very small and you only need a few hours there. We felt the pools were a bit too small for the dolphins as well. Other parks have much bigger pools and so it seemed a little cruel that the dolphins only had a small swimming area. We took a taxi to Waikiki beach later on which was stunning and definitely worth the trip.
The scenery was absolutely stunning over the volcano. This is probably something I will never get to witness again and so I am so glad I did this. The landscape is so varied and in parts, looks like aluminium from where the lava has flowed. We were lucky enough to fly up to the crater and there were a few red hot lava holes.
The coach broke down 20 minutes into a 6 hour trip and we were stranded for 3 hours, with no facilities, at a waterfall. We missed out seeing this island as by the time another bus got to us, it was too late for them to complete the trip and we were taken back to the ship.
