The VIP check in at Harwich was not available to us even though we arrived two hours before ship departure. Why? The local agency who manages this for RCCL was rude and her answer was "they were taking down the equipment so they could leave early". We were told we had to go back to the regular check-in area and wait behind the 30+ passengers that had just arrived by bus. Is this the way to treat your loyal VIP members?
The excursion desk did not explain that the Tivoli Gardens was a amusement park. Great for kids but not for seniors. The Harbour Tour was excellent, cold and damp due to the weather.
The tour to the horse farm was excellent. The home cooked lunch was fabulous. The ladies who cooked and served us inside this 200 year old home were delightful. The horses were "winners" of numerous awards. Beautiful!
Our tour guide gave us a very interesting history of Tallinn. She was very informative about the way things were in Tallinn during the Russian occupation. We enjoy hearing about the Tallinn peoples views about history, religion, and what they hope for the future.
