Lahaina Walking Tour Rating: 5.0 out of 5+
We decided to book the Lahaina on your own tour instead of taking a bus or cab there so that we'd be back in time for when the ship leaves. We had plenty of time to shop, eat, and walk around.

Road to Hana Rating: 5+ out of 5+
This was awesome! The only drawback was that the description said it was about 7 3/4 hours long, and we were almost gone 9 hours. The tour guide knew so much about the area, which was a plus over the long drive. We saw so much, and there were plenty of stops for us to take pictures and use the restrooms. We also stopped for lunch. The curves did not bother me, but I did take some motion sickness pills before we left just in case. I would also wear some type of tennis shoe.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Rating: 5+ out of 5+
This was another fantastic excursion. Lots of stops for pictures and the tour guide gives you lots of information along the way. There is also a stop at the gift shop there. Tennis shoes are a must to wear.

We just explored this stop on our own. Right next to the pier where the tender lets you off is a small beach and a hut where you can buy beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and more. There is also an information stand where you can check out maps, brochures, and cabs nearby. We just walked around towards the historic part of town, went to a farmers market, went to the beach, ate lunch, and returned to the ship. We tried to do a tour of the Kona Brewing Company, but apparently they only do 2 tours a day (the first at 10:30), and when we got there a bit after 10, it was already booked up.

This luau was fantastic! It was just a great experience to see the crafts that were for sale, dancing, singing, and food. Plus if you want, you can get up with the rest of the hula lessons group from the cruise ship and do a dance on stage. It is an open bar from when you get there until the show starts.

Harbor Mall Trolley Tour Rating: 5.0 out of 5+
When you get to Kauai, there is a free trolley to Harbor Mall. The trolley driver will tell you about a trolley tour that you can take around the island. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours, and was worth it. It was in an open air trolley, so be ready for the wind, and don't wear a hat. We went right in and booked it when we got to the mall. It does fill up quickly, and if you book at least a day in advance, you get 10% off. They have a website off of the Harbor Mall website. I'd recommend booking in advance so that you don't miss it the first day, and then have to try to squeeze it in on Friday before the cruise leaves. The tour on Thursday leaves at 11:30, but you have to be there by 11:15. It was about $40 a person. This was our favorite island. It is very beautiful and not as commercial as some of the other places. If it wasn't for this tour, we might not had thought this.
