We were in Bermuda for 3 days. On the first day we bought a two day transportation pass. We walked to the Ferry and went to St. George (about 45 minutes). We got a late start, so we missed the dunking of the wench in the town square. We did a tour of the ship the Deliverance on Ordinance Island. The kids found that boring, but my husband and I liked it. From there we walked up the hill to the unfinished church. I thought that was really interesting and very pretty. We continued our trek up the hill and then down the hill to Fort St. Catherine. My husband is a history buff, so this was a must for the trip. It was a very picturesque walk, past Tobacco Bay. It was quite a workout pushing the strollers there and then back to the ferry dock! That night was supposed to be Harbor Night Festival downtown, but it was canceled due to the rain.

The second day we went to the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ). We took the Ferry to Hamilton and walked a few blocks to the bus depot. We told the driver were we wanted to go and he let us know when to get off. We were very impressed with the aquarium and zoo. It was not that big, but they had great exhibits. We then got back on the bus and went to the Swizzle Inn for lunch. This was such an interesting old tavern. People write their names on every inch of the place. The food was pretty good. I did not really like their signature drink the Swizzle Punch. Our plan for after this was to go to the beach, but the weather was not great. So we went back to Hamilton and bought some t-shirts, then back on the Ferry to the port.

The third day we stayed around the Dockside and went to the Bermuda National Museum. Dolphin Quest is located inside this area and you can go watch the dolphin encounters. The kids loved this. They have the original estate on the top of the hill, filled with historical documents and information. You can also get a great view that part of the island from up there. We planned on going to Hamilton Beach after, but once again, the weather was poor. We just toured the area on the free tram and then went back to the ship.
