An easy place to do your own thing and just soak up the atmosphere of the place. Do go on a shore tour if it is your first visit because the history of the place is very interesting, right up to the recent war issues.

Piraeus is quite a nice place to spend a day if you don't want to visit the historic sites and the ship docks right in the main area of the town.

One of the most beautiful ports in the world. It is a superb place to spend a day just on your own. We did take a quick bus tour to orientate ourselves, but a wonderful place for a day.
