In the Morning used the Cunard shuttle into Tallinn and had a walk around this lovely City on or own. The market in the square was fantastic, local handicrafts being sold by the people who made them, people dressed in medieval costumes offering tasters of the local delicacies and he most wonderful flower market.
In the afternoon we took a Cunard walking tour with a very knowledgeable local guide. Excellent tour sadly let down by the choice of restaurant for coffee and a cake - a reproduction of a 1920's American Bar - WHY?
This time he used the headset so we could hear what the guide was saying, a fantastic building that luckily has been saved for us to visit.
Hermitage Museum Rating:
Evening visit with a short concert by the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra finishing it off. If you do one tour do this, the museum is closed to all but cruise guests so you have space and time to scratch the surface of the collection at the Hermitage.
Neva River Cruise Rating:
Cruise was lovely, unfortunately our guide choose not to use the headsets we had been issued with so we couldn't hear what he was saying so just looked at the palaces etc. floating by.
Took the Cunard Shuttle into Stockholm, then decided to do a hop on hop off tour of the Harbour which gave a very good idea of the various islands and areas around the City Centre. Walked through the Old Town which is lovely, and then took the shuttle back to the ship.
Took a Cunard Tour which went to Dragor, the Carlseburg Brewery as well as a coach tour of Copenhagen stopping at the Little Mermaid and the Royal Palace. Finally we ended up on a Harbour Tour back to the boat which was the only part of the tour that was wanting, not a lot to see that we had dent already been to but a pleasant was to get back.
