Go ashore to this delightful German holiday resort, beautiful cafes and restaurants. A few minutes walk from the cruise terminal, through the rail station (Bahnhof)and you're in the middle of town. Take the little tourist train ride and you'll see what a clean and traditional town this is with lovely little hotels along the beachfront road and miles, or rather kilometres, of groomed sand with little beach cabin seats. Well worth a visit when you don't want to go to Berlin which is 3 hours away and 3 hours back - a long day with little time to spend in this historic city.
