If you want noise and are willing to pay for it stay at the Margaritaville pool drinks are about $15.00 and beers are $7.00. If you walk on the beach and pass the line that separates the cruise line area you can find great local food like conch fritters 4 for $2.00, beers for $3.50 and drinks fro $4.00. This area is much quieter it just depnds on what you want. Loved how the cruise ship just pulls up to the beach AMAZING !
Great port for shopping and sightseeing. Free trolley parks right across the street from where the ships docks and takes you to all the special spots. Walking around you can find great food trucks and try the local food "bacalaitos" are great cod fritters they are huge and cost $1.00. Take the ferry across for .50 and take a taxi for $3.00 and you are at the Bacardi Factory . Free tour and free drinks !
Cookie beach is local beach take your own cooler with your own ice and drinks makes for a really cheap and fun day. Shopping is great but you have to dedicate time to it.
