The beginning was interesting. As the demonstration progresses, it became an elaborate sales pitch. We found that anti-climatic after such a fabulous visit to the Terrace Houses.

ANCIENT EPHESUS AND TERRACE HOUSES are MUST-SEE! This was a highlight of our cruise.
Swimming in the hot springs in April is not as warm as we hope. The water was frigid, and the hot spring was barely lukewarm. However, it was an experience.
Volcano Hiking Rating:
We enjoyed the hike very much. The view was fantastic. The hike is not for those with any mobility challenge. I recommend hiking only in the morning because there is no shade at all. Wear footwear with solid grip and support. The loose gravel is tricky. Bring lots of water, and a hat.
We visited Olympia, birthplace of Olympic. Not as Magical as we expected. However, to be there where the infamous Olympic torch will be lighted in a few weeks was meaningful.
The Zorba Event after was a wonderful surprise. Our host provided us fantastic Greek appetizers, and traditional music and dance. We also had to purchase its farm-produced Olive oil and olives. This part of the excursion exceeded our expectation.
After the major site visits, ending up in the beautiful garden of a famous restaurant, Spiros & Vasilis, with sumptuous local culinary, was FANTASTIC! The restaurant is located in St.John, 8km from Corfu. In addition, local band provided music and entertainment, elevating the experience even further! I highly recommend this restaurant.
The view entering this port is unsurpassed the most beautiful. Picture-perfect scenery. It is worth getting up early for. The serenity, the nature, the harmony are feasts for all senses. The hair-pin turns going up the mountain was nerve-wrecking sometimes. The magnificent views made up for it.
Biking in the village was one of our favorite excursion. The roads were not difficult; not much traffic to contend with. The bikes were newish, and suit all different heights. We saw much of the village, with scars of the war, and with optimism of rebuilt. Sighting of wild life and natural beauty was norm throughout the ride, PLUS we got excellent work out. And the reward for the work out was taste of local wines and local snacks! That was bonus!
