a short walk from the port leads you to the main road were we took a couple of tourist buses around the town and the bay which were a good way of taking naples in in a short space of time
we again did our own thing in tunisia as it is so much cheaper and perfectly safe in my opion, we went to the port exit and from there in the port side taxi office booked a trip to the three main tourist spots with a driver whom waits for you at the drop off points whilst you explore at your leisure we explored carthage , sidi bou said and then shopped in the medina in tunis it took us 4 hours on the entire trip and cost us 60.00 euro compared to 200.00 euros with msc
take a port bus from the terminal (blue bus) return trip 7 euros to the town centre where you can hop on a tourist bus to see the sights of lovely barcelona the same bus route from msc on their bus from the boat to town is 16 euros and vitually leaves next to the port bus !
the bus from the port is about 1.5km walk which is well marked on a walking route on the ground within the port from there it is 3 euros return trip otherwise if you don't want to walk the msc bus or a taxi will be there to take you, you have a choice of buses the metro or a tram to choose from for your own explorations we took a walk from the base of the notre dam to the top which is tough going but well worth it for the stunning views of marseille or the tourist train will take you to the top!
