My wife and I had visited on a previous trip to France and she fell in love with this charming little town. Since we had been before, we left the tour early and did the town on our own.
After a fairly long bus ride in heavy traffic we entered Rome and went to the Catacombs for a guided tour which was very enlightening. We then went out to the country side to a little hill top town which is home to the Pope's summer palace. From there to a "farm" where we had lunch. Except for the long time on the bus, the tour was very good.
On this tour, we were scheduled to visit the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Although our tour guide was outstanding, the traffic made it impossible to spend any time at the Grand Bazaar. The tour was rated as easy walking, but there were several people in our tour group that could not keep up and returned to the bus.
