ort Canaveral: Best known for Kennedy Space Center tours but options range from beach time to Disney World. We boarded a comfortable bus for the hour long ride to Universal Studios. It felt like a vacation within a vacation.
Nassau: everything the Bahamas is known for. Poor weather scuttled our plans for a stop at Atlantis. We shopped and popped in to the Hard Rock and Senor Frogs.
Freeport: Lovely people who are eager for your tourist dollar. Not enough people signed up for the Captain Morgan Rustic Beach Break so we took a cab to Port Lucaya for our own beach time and shopping. A tiki bar/restaurant at the beach serves up some of the freshest conch salad you'll find. I would not hesitate to return to Freeport for a land vacation and extended stay in paradise.
