Baltimore
Port Rating: Not Rated
Port is easy to find, enter and exit.
As we chose to park at the pier, our experience may not parallel one where you are dropped off by friends/family.
Upon entering, the first station inquired if we had our cruise pre-printed luggage tags on our bags. With a yes, we were directed around (note - if you do not do this, they have you pull aside to an area where they will provide you with the tag). We pulled up to a convoy of luggage racks, popped the trunk, and they put our bags on it. We were then directed to drive around to the area where, sitting on golf carts, you pay in advance for your parking. That completed, drive around the building to the designated parking area.
This could not have been easier.
Short walk into the building, where you check-in, get your sea pass and board!
Because of the two bridges over the Chesapeake Bay, ship size is limited. If you like those jumbo ships with a multitude of restaurants and exciting activities, this is not your port.
