Beautiful Island indeed. However, took a HAL sponsored catamaran tour to Fond Doux Estate/Plantation. It rained heavy most of the way there. There was not enough cover on the catamaran to get out of the rain. Everything was just soaked including us. They forged ahead though - felt like we were being held captive. Had "friends" come up to the catamaran selling trinkets etc...they kept yelling and hounding passengers to look at their things and buy. It was annoying. The bus to the plantation was not air-conditioned and smelled like gas as did the catamaran. Will not do that again...
Took a private tour with Captain Wayne - Baleine Tours. St. Vincent is such a beautiful - beautiful island. All aboard was 3:30pm - annoyed with HAL that we did not have more time to see all this beautiful island has to offer.
St Croix is absolutely beautiful. Can swim and snorkel right outside the port area. However many of the waterfront shops were closed. It appears to be becoming very depressed.
