We booked tickets online for the Cityview Trolley ahead of time. It was a good way to get around the island and we only had to wait more than 15 minutes for a trolley once. We visited the Butterfly Conservatory, which was nice, and the Shipwreck Museum which was a bit of a waste of money.
We booked a private catamaran snorkeling and sting ray tour. Unfortunately it was quite windy and rough when we were there and the catamaran had to turn back. Our captain was very nice about it, didn't charge us, and drove us to Hell and the Turtle Farm so we could look around. We enjoyed holding the turtles at the turtle farm, although admission was a bit steep. We then took the public bus to 7 Mile Beach. Wow! Beautiful beach and we ended up wishing we had more time to spend there.
The line-up to get back on the boat was really long in Grand Cayman but it didn't take too long to get back on the ship.
In Montego Bay we had booked a private tour to do river rafting and visit the beach. The river rafting was ok but not great. We were floating in tubes down the river for an hour and a half, which was too long for our young kids. The tubing guide also tried to demand that my husband double the tip ($20) that he offered. It was a bit creepy. After the tubing we went to Aquasol beach. It was ok but not a very big beach and we had to pay admission.
