Port Canaveral
Port Rating:
Embarkation and disembarkation were handled smoothly, efficiently and in a friendly, welcoming manner. We enjoyed walking around on the exterior decks and seeing all our "neighbor" ships.

Belize City
Port Rating:
The port , and the city, are nothing special, and not very inviting. But we really enjoyed our shore excursion to the caves!

Cozumel
Snorkeling Rating:
Two reef snorkeling was actually two different stops along basically the same reef, but the beauty and variety of undersea life were amazing, and we didn't care. There was a strong current along this reef, which carried us all along rapidly enough that we were happy that our boat was following us so we didn't need to swim against the tide to return to the boat! Our guide was good, finding and pointing out interesting stuff like barracuda, rays and parrot fish. We were thankful for the bottle of drinking water offered as we climbed back onto the boat in between swims.

Roatan
Port Rating:
Roatan (Mahogany Bay) is by far and away the most visually attractive port on this itinerary, and it features the shortest walk from ship's gangway to the meeting point for excursions. The area is clean, green with plenty of trees and natural plantings, and pretty! Shops and restaurants are the usual.
We liked that there is a public swimming beach within an easy walk of the ship pier -- there's no need to book an excursion here, since you can stroll over to the beach and spend hours lying in the sun or swimming. Very nice! I wish I had known about this beach before spending big buck$ on an excursion.
During the boat ride back from our snorkeling location, a weather system rolled in and dumped a pretty good shower onto all the guests. (The catamaran was such that almost everybody rode on the unsheltered upper deck.) The rain came down fresh and cool, and washed away most of the salt water, so it really wasn't so bad. Somebody suggested we have a "wet T-shirt contest!"
All that said, it was nice to return to the hot showers aboard ship.
