Nice, even the second time there. Excellent tour guide. Great plumes of smoke coming from the caldera. Miserably cold and rainy though.

Mob scene! Good food and very good show, but 1200 people is quite a crowd. During the show it poured and continued to rain most of the evening. An expensive disappointment, but I was the one who picked it so I should not complain.


Lyon Arboretum Rating: 5+ out of 5+
Our favorite excursion of the entire cruise. Gorgeous rainforest with some strenuous hiking, but such natural beauty and an excellent tour guide.

Hollywood - Hawaii Rating: 3.0 out of 5+
Small van tour, very expensive. Saw movie locations from Gilligan's Island, Fantasy Island, None but the Brave, South Pacific etc. We did not like that the tumble-down ruin of Coco Palms Resort was given a half hour, but less than 5 seconds to Jurassic Park as we drove by at 60 mph. Not even a photo stop. Very disappointed! Definitely not worth the money.

Had seen it before, but thoroughly enjoyed it again. Highly recommended! Just beautiful!


Maui Tropical Plantation Rating: 5.0 out of 5+
Loved the Maui Ocean Center but the Maui Tropical Plantation was a little underwhelming, although certainly recommended for mobility-impaired folks and first-time visitors. Happy to see the Made on Maui store on the premises (but easily missed since it's quite small).
