St. Croix is nice and small and little to no hassle off the cruise. You can walk into their town area and no one is harassing you to buy stuff. We ATV'ed here and it was a fun way to see the sights. The beach was crystal clear and so relaxing.
St. Maaten is busy out of the terminal. We did a sailing trip and had a blast but go burnt. We had been here before so did not go into town but it is a busy town. The place has recovered well from a major hurricane that devastated the island about 10yrs ago.
We Kayaked and snorkeled here through the ship. It was a good excursion. Antigua is also a busy town. Once outside of town it is very peaceful and beautiful. Good food at Hemingways.
We had a nice day at the beach here (Rodney's Bay). Lots to do on the beach but be warned that there is a lot of hustle on the beach. They are constantly coming at you with beer, jewelery, fruit etc.
We thought we could walk into town and find the beach but it is a long hot walk with no signs indicating the beach. We eventually got a taxi and hired him to take us around the island and then to the beach where we could swim with the turtles. The tour was nice and relaxing but we had no time to spend on the beach.
