Taxi drivers at the port are aggressive and the prices are set. We took a cab to a fantastic ceviche restaurant La Cevicheria. Excellent and fresh, clean and friendly. Check them out on Trip Advisor. Walked around town a bit. Lots of fairly aggressive vendors selling all sorts of stuff. Taxi back to the ship.
We had taken the Coribici River Float on a previous cruise, so there was no other excursion of interest to us. Shopped a little at the port (lots of crafts) - make sure to bargain with the vendors.
A wonderful excursion managed by a friendly and energetic team that involved a combination of zip lining and rappelling in a lush jungle setting. The excursion also included a Apex boat ride to and from the venue as well as a short mule ride. This was one of our top 3 excursions ever!
We booked a snorkeling trip through the ship and had a good time, although the water was somewhat murky and the water a little "brisk". Back at the port we found a tourist trap which included Hooters and Senor Frogs, so we headed back to the ship.
