Our 2nd cruise with MSC. This time on World Europa out of Barcelona.
Flew into barcelona the night before and stayed in the Fontair Congress near the airport. The hotel had a cruise and stay package, so free pick up from airport, room, breakfast and free transfer to the port. Hotel is 10 mins from airport and 25 mins from the port. Next to the hotel is a shopping centre, and a ...
My husband and I, got to the ship on the 1st March 202 to be told go away for 2hrs. Umm we thought not a good start!.
Before boarding no refreshmentsoffered which normally happens on MSC.
Room was clean on arrival, and was cleaned daily. No attention to detail but that was fine, felt sorry for the young man as he never stopped.
The ship was like a hop on hop off bus, so we had safety ...
We booked the world cruise for 116 nights but are home now after the horror show put up by this cruise company. We decided to come back in 80days because, the ship kept on running out of food. No choice for vegetarians except for salad (which is good for cows not human being). Ran out of fruit juices. Cancelled 10ports. Food if ever it was available it was inedible as it was under cooked. ...
The Magnifica crew provided Excellent service! I Chose to carry own luggage off ship however Debarking was very organized and quickly got off the ship in less than 15 minutes.
The Food was good but Europeanish so I was able to expand my palate a bit. Locs, grilled cheese and pepperoni.
The freshly made pizza is delicious with many varieties and is hot and waiting which is so satisfying at ...
The crew were very polite, the food was not bad either, and our cabin was kept clean! That is the nice thing I have to say about the cruise! Rather than that it was an expensive cheap cruise. The ship was croweded, you had to search for launge chairs to sit, you had to stay in lines for everything, from the hot tub to entering the restaurant. The worst thing was their internet packages. I believe ...
The wife and I took our 10th anniversary cruise (and first cruise ever) on the MSC Divina. We were originally going to try Virgin, as the kiddos were staying home with the grands for this one, but by the time we booked Scarlet Lady was full. MSC caught our attention from YouTube and online research. The price point was hard to beat and we weren't looking for a megaship for our first time out so ...
My husband and I have been on a number of MSC's ships and in the Yacht Club. Of the cruises we have been on the Seashore would be last place..
I broke it down to what was excellent, good and Unacceptable.
Excellent
* Ocean Cay: This private island is a major perk for MSC Cruises guests. It offers beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

The MSC Seaside is a nice enough ship, we saw good entertainment on board, and our excursions purchased through MSC were great. We chose the ship because of the itinerary.
The FOOD on MSC, however, was a massive disappointment- our rating score reflects how we feel about our food experience.
Both in the Main Dining Room and in the buffet, our food was often not hot enough, bland, or ...
Had a great experience, with friendly staff and good entertainment. Good for families. Embarkation was a breeze, though self disembarkation was slow. Buffets were not too crowded, did not see any long lines. The food was good with variety to choose from though some of them felt bland. The deserts were great , as was the coffee and the breakfasts.
The rooms were clean and bigger than expected. ...
This was our first and last experience sailing with MSC. In all honesty, the problems began far before we even boarded the ship. Their website is horrible. Their customer service phone lines were just as bad. Getting answers from anybody varied depending on who you got to answer the phone that day. It took me multiple phone calls just to book an excursion. Several more phone calls to change the ...
