Went with my husband and two daughters, 8 and 5. I am not a huge fan of cruising as I would rather be in a desination than sailing around. That said, our previous cruises were okay, but not my favorite. We cruise as we live in FL and we can drive to the port and not deal with airfare.

We know Carnival is the Holiday Inn of cruising, so we don't have crazy expectations for food, expected lines to eat &embark, and knew the people on the ship would be heavy party drinkers, ect...

This trip was AWESOME. The kids had a wonderful time....swimming, playing in the jacuzzi (which previously kids were never allowed in), making tons of new friends. Lots of kids, as it's Spring Break.
