Ship Facts: Carnival Magic Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Magic Deck Plans
Spring Break 2012 18th of March
Family Cruise, but it was just my wife and I. 4500+ passengers, 1200 under the age of 18 and ( my guess) 7-800, 18-21 yr olds College Types. First of All the food in the dining room was a 9 out of ten, with Fillet Mignon, Chateau Brignon, Prime Rib, and the Italian Restaurant one night was outstanding. The buffet was also above average, but nowhere in the dining room category. The stateroom was adequate. There were no Lounge chairs available after 9 am and no enforcement of the 30 minute rule for abandoned chairs, and no enforcement of the no children rule in the Serenity deck.

The two shows that stood out were the magic show and the juggler. Lights special effects etc. were great in the magic show, and the juggler on a 7ft. unicycle with knives and flames, pretty impressive.

Water slide!! Big screen TV, great Drink specials and A TON OF KIDS

The comedy shows 3 out of 4 were not bad at all. Percy too Crude was the only one that they need to drop, profanity in the all ages show and then He spent an entire set asking various couples around the room what sex acts they practiced. I am Not a prude, and sex questions are possibly appropriate for a part of a show, but "come on man"!!!Mutzie, Just June and Cowboy Bill all were edgy, outlandish and sometimes crude, but way funnier...

Will not go into onshore activities. The Beach at Palancar on Cozumel is wonderful, and 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman is a great beach break.

If you want to be surrounded by 1,000+ Kids running, screaming, and having fun this is the cruise, just keep the kids away from Percy!!

Embarkation and disembarkation A++++ way to go Carnival!
