Port Canaveral is an easy port to navigate. Embarkation was reasonably fast & easy. We arrived at the port at 12 noon, and were on board about 12:40. The lines were long but moved reasonably quickly. We entered on deck 3, the base of the 9 deck atrium. We were disappointed that we were not greeted with a glass on champagne as we ware on a prior Celebrity cruise. No one showed or directed us to our cabin. The cabin was adequate for 2 adults. Nice bath with supplies & a stocked refrigerator. But there was no ice in our ice bucket, so we had to find our cabin steward & request some. The food in the Red Sails buffet restaurant was good, but not excellent. The food varied enough daily to keep it interesting. The deserts were above average. We had the 1st seating in the Platinum Dining Room and sat a a nice table at a window for 8 but only six diners including ourselves showed up, which was just fine. The service and the food were good. Although one evening when I found nothing of interest as an appetizer, I requested a simple shrimp cocktail which was refused because it was not on the menu that evening. Most other cruise lines would have had no problem accommodating this simple request.

The main evening entertainment in the Amber Palace, I can only describe as poor. There was only one good show out of six. The best show was a singer who nailed the Motown sounds of the 60'S perfectly. The others, a comedian Percy Crews, relied solely on bathroom, what he thought was humor, but got old after 10 minutes. Another show with Justin Illusion, a so called illusionist was a disgrace and a total waste of time. The carnival singers & dancers were ok but barley. A Filipino classic rock group called "Just Friends" in the Ebony Lounge performed nightly and were very good. Good dance music and you could listen to it without risk of having your hearing impaired.

The itinerary was fine, but Belize was a disappointment. Our table mates who went snorkeling there said it was a disappointment. The "music" at the main pool on Lido deck was always much too loud and unsuitable for relaxing or conversing.
