Paradise on the Paradise

Sail Date: March 2012
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Tampa

5 years ago was when we started our Carnival Adventures. We take one every year! This years was no different, we get up early and drive to our port of choice, this year was Tampa. We parked at an off site park and ride site, which turned out to be just a fenced in empty lot, on the good side it was only 5.00 a day! We got to the port at about 10:30 checked in and waited to get aboard, which was about 11:30. Headed up stairs to the Lido deck to have lunch, and a few drinks, and met some wonderful people!
We set sail @ 4. watched the Dolphins take us out of the bay.
The 1st night we went to dinner and to a show, Which were both wonderful!
Tuesday was a day at sea, which we spent on the Lido deck dancing and sunning, headed down to the lounge for a game of Bingo, The kids were making friends and having a great time also. Wednesday, we were in Georgetown, which we had been a few times before so we decided to just go to the beach, We took a bus to Calico Jacks, a bit pricey but More all had a great time, the water was cool and beautiful as always!! Had a few extra minutes to shop a little before returning for a 3:00 departure. Thursday we were in Cozumel, which we booked an Excursion to the Playa Mia beach club. The service was Wonderful, plenty of activities for everyone the drinks flowed and the food was good! Headed back to the port @ 5, and did a bit of shopping again before heading back to the ship, Friday was a day @ sea. Where we relaxed, ate, and played. The one thing we love about cruising, is you can do as little or as much as you want to! There is always something going on! The ship Decor is a little out dated, but the staff go out of their way to cater to everyone!! The food was good, the drinks were awesome, and the service was great, Can't wait to see where we go next year, Definitely would do this cruise again!! Less
