This is my 23 cruise, but my first on MSC.We were a group of 5: 3 adults and 2 boys age 6 & 7.The embarkation went very smoothly.Never were asked for permission letter for grandson.
The location of our rooms was perfect deck 12 just steps from the elevator/stairs.up to the pool deck and soft serve ice cream The boys were thrilled with serving themselves frequently.LOL
The ship itself was modern and well decorated.Exceptionally clean.
Our wait staff and room steward went above and beyond what we expected and were tipped extra
Found the food in the buffet to have a nice variety, very tasty. My picky eater ate the entire burger plus fries and either a hot dog or pizza every day for lunch and dinner. The food in MDR was enjoyed as well.We asked the first night for water and it was served each night thereafter.Waiter remembered how we all liked our meat cooked.Having choices from the different regions of Italy was great.
Enjoyed the shows varied and just long enough. The More Hip Expressions Group from St Petersberg Fl were on board They performed Belly Dance as well as contemporary/modern interpretive dance Very talented group with live music.Enjoyed them immensely
We did 2 ship tours Mexico Grand Beach witch was enjoyed by all especially the Open Bar by the 3 adults.jamaica we did Margharita ville beach and Ricks Cafe with cliff divers.Only suggestion would be to include a tip for the divers as they kept wanting more money from us to perform
The staff were helpful I liked that they allowed the excursion leaders come on the tours with us.The Kids camp was well appreciated. The only suggestion I have is that the hours be extended.Having late seating dinner the shows were at 7 pm.Kids club began at 7 making us late. Then ended @ 10 when we were still eating could have ended a little later.(The boys did come to a few shows and had dinner with us most evenings, but on 2 occasions they did have dinner with the Kids Club Staff which they seemed to enjoy Less
