Ship Facts: Costa Classica Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Costa Classica Deck Plans
Not as good as expected
The cabin was roomy and no problems. The cabin steward Lu was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for her.

The excursion were quite pricey and a lot of wasted time that could have been utilised better. Sanya Island off China was a waste of time with only a few hours on land.

Ha long Bay was fantastic and the best tour of the trip. Shannon- Marie was a great person who went out of her way to assist me when I had a fall in Da- Nang.

The service desk staff were mainly rude and unhelpful and they lost 1 bag of our luggage and were not interested in helping us. We finally found it ourselves the following morning. This was not just a complaint from us as many other English speaking people found they had the same attitude towards them.

The breakfast could do with a bit of a change as 14 days of the same food was too much.

The waiters in the dining room were fantastic but the food was mostly okay but some meals were inedible.

The drinks were outrageously expensive and there was no "happy hour" and you had to purchase packages.

The Internet charges were expensive and luckily another passenger showed us how to use it and we wasted the first 10 euros trying to navigate the site.

We met some lovely people on board but there were also a lot of very rude people but I guess you get that anywhere and it is no reflection on Costa.

Some of the other ports we visited are not in the selection but we wanted to see Vietnam and would do a land excursion instead of a cruise and we did not see enough and the time spent travelling was too much.

I would not travel with Costa again and a couple who had been on the ship the previous year and liked it, were disappointed with the drop of standards.
