This is a brief account of the recent cruise we took aboard the Emerald Princess. We were aboard for 20 days visiting many Caribbean Islands, it was to be a relaxing well-earned holiday with warm sunshine and good food, to Escape Completely as the princess slogan proudly suggests.

It was a Holiday from Hell, never to be repeated.

We have to admit that this cruise has seriously questioned our love-affair with cruising and would strongly advise others not to trust Princess with their holiday dreams as they are not worthy of your custom. Our view was far from an isolated opinion, many other passengers had said that Princess had deteriorated to an intolerably low level compared to the past.

Cabin Review

Cabin E

We unfortunately stayed in L104 (Lido Deck). This is directly below the Running machines in the Fitness Centre. This is NOT a habitable room and should NOT be sold to passengers. The same can be said about adjacent suite L106 and Cabin L102. All occupants complained during our cruise to no avail from Princess Management.Intolerable noise even after the Fitness centre closes and the Crew used the centre. Managemant don't care a damn, they said YOU CHOOSE THE ROOM, there are 3000 other passengers to consider.Moved to E405 (Emerald Deck) for the second 10days. - no problem good views although classed obstructed.
