This was my first REAL cruise. The check-in process was easy and quick. Parked off-site to save $$$. The ship was recently dry docked and looked good. The staff was friendly. Our room was ready early and bags came quick. The rooms are large and clean. Well kept! Our cabin was quiet! The shows were better than expected though the male singer was eh. The Amber Palace was beautiful. The food was good and I don't see the validity in the complaints. The buffet is decent and dinner was amazing! Our wait staff (Olga, Ani, I Made) were amazing and I loved anytime dining. The bar staff was kinda rude with my being 21 so carnival should come up with a solution to that. The bar staff was mostly nice. We got the soda card and no one seemed very happy to get it. We asked the drink guy on deck and one said "go to the bar." The rest of the staff was great aside from many anti-gay remarks.

Cozumel- BORING Theres the port and a small downtown but not much else. We were done early. NEXT TIME id do excursion.

Costa Maya- We did the cacchuben ruins (SP) and it was great! worth the money. Otherwise theres the port with a pool and bar but NOTHING ELSE!!!
