This was our second cruise so we are new to cruising. Last year we sailed on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas and absolutely loved it. We chose Carnival this time for its family atmosphere as we travel with a 12 year old. Carnival Dream did not meet our expectations, especially in comparison to our experience on RC.

The positive:

We received a room upgrade. I booked an interior cabin through the fun saver special and we were thrilled to see that we had been upgraded to an exterior cabin. The cabin was spacious and had 2 showers. Really enjoyed the cabin.
