My husband and I cruised the Star on Feb. 27 - March 6. This was our first Princess cruise and second cruise overall. What a beautiful ship! We were very impressed.

Embarkation was extremely fast and painless. We were on the ship and into our cabin within 30-45 minutes. We had a balcony cabin on Baja deck - #B615. Our room was very spacious, as well as the balcony. If you've never had a balcony I would recommend it. It was so nice to sit on it every morning after waking up and at night before going to bed. We actually used it a lot. We also did the ultimate balcony dinner on the second formal night was well worth the $$.

The food was excellent. We thought the buffet food was ok, but the dining room food was out of this world. The food presentations were great. We had personal choice dining and never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table in the Portofino dining room. We also loved the burgers, fries and pizza by the pool. We found the pizza to be a great afternoon snack.
