This was our 3rd cruise on our 3rd different cruise line. Sadly this cruise was neither number 1 or number 2. We heard going in that this would not be up to the standards of the other lines and that was correct.

Arrival and departure was good. We arrived at 11:45 and were on board by 12:15. Announcements were made when the decks were ready, but had it not been for one staff member we would never had known as we heard no announcement. We found the service lacking, in the Cadillac diner we were basically ignored. We ate in the Aloha cafe and it was acceptable. The staff seemed to keep busy by walking around trying to look busy. Several times we had to ask to get our table wiped. We ate at the steakhouse and Little Italy. Both were excellent and worth the extra dollars. The girls serving the Aloha bar were excellent. The serving stations in the Aloha were confusing at first but it got better once you got used to it. You do have to be aware of your surroundings as people are crisscrossing everywhere. The food was good for the most part but the chicken teriyaki was inedible, both taste and texture. We also hit one tough hip of beef.

Our room was acceptable at best. Bed looked like a hammock which was good as it kept you from rolling out due to the continual rocking of the boat despite having calm seas. Drawers were broken and many surfaces had dust on them. The toilet smelt like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Service was slow when we asked for ice and to get the fridge unlocked.
