Sail Date: Mar 2005

I had read the other reviews prior to booking this trip and I saw a few things that I thought were a little out of order and were probably just a new rider or a critic. Well, most of them were correct.

The embarkation was a snap. Probably one of the fastest and smoothest that I have ever been through in over 17 sailings. We are in the Skipper's Club and that definitely helped. Front of the line when it opened, straight into the on ramp, less than 20 minutes from limo to room at 12PM. GREAT!!!

The cabin was a Cat 11 and it was just as represented. Great space and closet room, with drawers for everything and room for the cases after you unpacked. Super Steward on our section, never missed a chance to help. Everything in the cabin worked except the whirlpool bath, which on this thread I had read that none of them worked. I think that is a correct statement as everyone in a suite was asking why their whirlpool was not working. We had our two grandchildren with us and they love the pools and slides, with the exception that the first 3 days the Caper Paper stated that the slide was not being used due to the cold air and wind. (It was cold and windy). Finally the last 4 days they stated that the slide was inoperative and I heard the Security officer tell one passenger that it had been inoperative for several weeks. The children naturally were not happy as that is a big draw for the kids.
