This was our second cruise to Hawaii for the 14 days. We thoroughly loved it.
We spent a year planning, reading reviews on critic, menus, etc. and had it planned down to the point of perfect. It was our third time on the Golden Princess and we were not disappointed. The food in the dining room was excellent and our waiter and helper were the best, Shein and Judith, table 124. We asked the head waiter the first night if we could look at the cruise menus so we could decide when we wanted to go the Crown Grill. So every night after that he brought to our table the next nights menus, which was very helpful.
We ate twice in the Crown Grill, which was excellent, once had room service and all the other nights we ate in the dining room and there also for lunch most every day. We were very disappointed in the Horizon Court and only ate there for one breakfast which was awful. We ate at the International Cafe for lunch one day, and it was good, but they had the same thing for the next 13 days. Never had any variety at all.
