My wife and I sail at least three times a year. We prefer voyages from the NE as we are not fans of Air travel. We booked a Suite for the first time after twenty previous voyages. We were very satisfied with our suite. We had the services of a Butler, Irwin Velasquez, who was outstanding. Our room attendants, Ozy Travasso from India and Sammer were the best. My wife and I aren't complainers, we never had a bad cruise. The ship is new, therefore, no complaints about the ship.
This is our first cruise with Celebrity and we enjoyed the service and pleasant attitudes of the entire crew. We visited six islands, and nothing new, the islands are all the same. The weather was great once we reached the Islands. No humidity and temps in the 80's. We had a brief rain shower in St. Thomas. We did have gnarly weather going down and coming back off Cape Hatteras NC, which is normal during the winter. It seems most passengers handled the weather as seasoned sailors.
At breakfast on the bad days, the buffet was packed. We ate in the Specialty restaurants on three occasions, twice in Tuscan and once at Murano, and the food and service was outstanding. Had the best ever Filet Mignon in Tuscan and the best lobster dish in Murano. We ate the rest of the time in the Main Dining Room and the food was normal for cruise lines, no complaints. The only difference I've found in the Cruise line restaurants have been smaller portions, but you can order all you want.
We embarked at 1PM and had no problems. We disembarked at 9:30AM with no problems. All in all a great trip, and we will sail Celebrity again.
