My boyfriend and I (23 and 25) just returned from 10 day Caribbean cruise on Princess Dawn. Destinations as follows: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Ochos Rios, St. Thomas, St. Marten, Princess Cays.

For those of you who don't have the patience to read the details, here's a summary: We really enjoyed the cruise overall, the ship and the destinations. However, having previously sailed on Celebrity we had something to compare to. We would recommend it the 1st time cruisers, you'll have a great time, but Princess was missing that "wow" factor we had on Celebrity.

Overall On every corner someone was trying to talk you into buying something and a lot of the activities were extras. For example, we were constantly offered to buy special martini glasses, special liquor, etc etc. Also, a lot of the activities were extra such as computer classes, fitness classes, wine tastings and many others. On Celebrity we never saw a price next to any of the activities as all were included. Read more
