2nd time on NCL - Pearl was the first journey. Although Star was refurbished about a year ago, I don't believe much was updated in the cabin. The bathrooms were way better on Pearl, and less worn out. The steward tried his best, but did not compare to the one on Pearl.

Ship was great for the layout, the only two things we missed was an inside cigar lounge for my husband and a library/gym with a view for myself. It looks like they were both cramped inside the 12th deck, with no view, to make room for more oceanview cabins.

Food was good, buffet had plenty of food, with lots of vegetables, grilled,fried meat. Versailles and Aqua had good menus, although it seemed like they were just alternating the menus b/w the two main dining rooms. The buffet on the pool deck was always fun and decent Bbq food. Read more
