Booked the cruise independently and booked easyjet flights Newcastle/Barcelona separately. This worked out well and we flew out a day early to spend an extra night in Barcelona. The flight times were ideal as were the transport links from the airport to the city centre. We used the 'Aerobus' which runs every 10mins to the Plaza de Cataluna and provides an excellent service for just over 5 euros.

We stayed overnight in the Hotel Curious, just off La Rambla which was very handy for joining the cruise ship (within walking distance of the Plaza de Cataluna and the cruise shuttle which stops at the bottom of La Rambla).

First impressions of the Jade were good, embarkation went smoothly and quickly.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

No problems with mini-suite 11606. It was a good size with a separate lounge area and reasonably sized balcony. The bathroom was a good size with a large bath with overhead shower, the toilet was in a separate cubicle area.

It was kept 'spic & span' by the cabin steward.
