We booked a get-away cruise with three other couples -- this being our first cruise. Embarktion at Miami could not have gone any smoother. Total time from setting foot in the Port of Miami to sitting my butt in a rocking seat on the Lido deck of Glory was no more than 45 minutes! Incredibly efficient, well-run, with no lines -- airlines could learn a thing or two here!!
Once on board Glory, the staff was intent on ensuring a restful, relaxing, fun week. Drink servers were attentive to our needs and never pushy -- Thanks Darba, Pio, and Emanual! Drink prices were reasonable and the drinks were no watered down.
Food was abundant throughout the ship and throughout the week. Buffets were well-stocked and positioned at various points across the ship. The Pizza Parlor served a steady, tastey variety of pizzas. Evening dinner for us was the late seating and our service staff was top notch. Food was very tastey and again plentiful. If anyone wanted more all they had to do was ask.
Our room staff was also quick, efficient and professional. Our room was spic and span each and every day.
My first experience and that of my wife was = positive!
