We arrived in FLL the day before the cruise and stayed at the Diplomat-Weston. Booked on Hotwire for $104/night. What a deal and what a hotel!

Saturday arrived at the port, checked in and arrived at our cabin about 45 min later. Very easy, quick process. We carried on 4 bottles of wine with no issues.

Our cabin is very nice, mini-suite on the Dolphin deck. Romeo is our steward and did an excellent job through out our cruise. By day 2 he was addressing us by out first names. While not necessary, a nice touch in that he took the time. We've had a mini-suite before, so knew the layout and that the balcony was "exposed". Not an issue for us. We enjoyed coffee in the am and wine in the pm on our balcony. Had an issue with opening our safe one day, called for assistance and help arrived within 15 minutes.
